Welcome to Historic Falmouth Cruise Port

Opened in March 2011, the Historic Falmouth Cruise Port (HFCP), Jamaica represents the exciting redevelopment and reopening of the historic port in Falmouth, Jamaica.

The project includes the creation of a themed retail shopping destination alongside a dock with two berths capable of hosting the world's most modern cruise ships, including Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's (RCCL) Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas and the newest addition to the Oasis Class fleet Harmony of the Seas, the world's largest cruiseships.

Historic Falmouth Cruise Port is being pioneered as the first-ever thematic cruise port destination and commercial development centre, transforming the historic town of Falmouth, Jamaica into a host city for the growing cruise industry.

Location

Given its proximity to the home ports of Florida, Jamaica is a year-round cruise destination and a mainstay on western Caribbean itineraries.

The Port of Falmouth is located in the town of Falmouth on the nation's northern coast, eighteen (18) miles east of Montego Bay, fifty-nine (59) miles west of Ocho Rios, and right along cruise shipping routes. Falmouth, located in the parish of Trelawny, is set become the first heritage township destination in Jamaica. From Falmouth, visitors can access most of the tours currently offered from Montego Bay and Ocho Rios.

With its excellent location and its ability to host post-Panamax vessels, many which make the Caribbean their year-round home, the Port of Falmouth hosts cruise ship calls year-round.

The Jamaican people are accustomed to welcoming and hosting cruise visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. With English as the first language and an array of activities, Jamaica is a comfortable destination for American and international visitors. The American dollar is accepted all over Jamaica.

The Port of Falmouth adheres to international standards for port security required by the major cruise lines and United States Homeland Security.

The Falmouth area has warm weather in the mid 80s year-round.
